5. Delivery Issues

A. Delays

OrthoWalkShoes is not responsible for delays caused by the carrier, adverse weather conditions, strikes, incorrect address provided by the customer, or other force majeure situations. We will do our best to assist you in locating the order with the carrier.

B. Lost or Missing Packages

If the tracking status indicates that the package was delivered, but you have not received it:

  1. Check with neighbors, family members, or the doorman (if applicable).
  2. Verify that the address provided was correct.

Important: Responsibility for packages marked as "delivered" by the carrier transfers to the customer. In case of confirmed loss by the carrier, we will proceed with a refund or re-shipment of the order.

C. Incorrect Address or Refusal

If the package is returned to the sender due to an incorrect address provided by the customer or refusal of delivery:

  • The customer will be responsible for the cost of re-shipping.
  • We will contact you to resolve the situation and arrange a new shipment upon payment of the postage fees.

D. Damage During Transit

Upon receipt, if the outer packaging is visibly damaged:

  • Request to open the package in the presence of the delivery driver to check the condition of the product.
  • If the product is damaged, refuse delivery of the package.
  • If the driver does not allow opening or you only notice the damage after opening the package, contact us immediately (within 48 hours) with photos of the packaging and the damaged product.
